Aurora Borealis

As Norwegians, we are privileged to get glimpses of the Northern Lights. They are quite rare in Trondheim, but during the Autumn of 2017 we were extremely lucky. We were visiting our mom at Sula, a small lighthouse island outside the coast of Trondheim, when the spectacular display started dancing on the sky. Normally we would not have noticed because the beams from the lighthouse would be too bright, but the lighthouse bulb was broken and the island was in darkness for the first time in years! The short video is the result of a whole night of sitting on the hillside philosophising and drinking coffee next to the camera making sure it was catching the magic.

The music was recorded at our final master exam performance June 2017.
