The two spin elemental magic.
Alexander Rider UK Harp Association Magazine
This one-of-a-kind sibling duo combines the ethereal harp and the passionate bandoneon and creates an enchanting atmopshere perfect for Christmas. The program of their special Christmas concert includes tango classics, Julie & Andreas’ hearfelt originals, and carefully chosen Christmas gems from Scandinavian and European folk traditions. The stage is set for an evening of sparkling Christmas joy, eclectic arrangements, and that cozy "julero" vibe, bringing you the true essence of Norwegian Christmas calm.
This is harp and bandoneon music of a clearly higher class.
Dani Heyvaert from album review «ENE Favn» 2024
Julie & Andreas have through hundreds of concerts in 16 different countries established themselves as innovative with their diverse sound universe. With their critically acclaimed album "With the Sky in Our Hands", they introduced an authentic tango voice for the harp. During their performance at the Dutch International Tangoweek, the duo was presented as the jewels in the crown of the Argentinean tango. Their latest album ENE Favn distinguishes them as music innovators, composing and performing sublime Nordic melancholic joy. In May 2022 they performed "In the Embrace of the Sea" at the prestigious World Harp Competition, winning both the Audience Award and the 2nd Prize.
